These terms govern your use of our website and the services Golden State Coatings provides. Please read them before requesting an estimate or booking a project.
Effective date: August 25, 2026. These terms apply to goldenstateepoxy.com and to any estimate, contract, or project performed by Golden State Coatings.
By visiting our website, requesting an estimate, or hiring Golden State Coatings for a project, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our website or services.
Golden State Coatings provides epoxy and concrete coating installation for residential, commercial, and industrial properties, including flake, metallic, solid color, sealed concrete, quartz, mortar, and cove systems. The specific scope of work, materials, and system selected for your project will be detailed in your written estimate.
Descriptions of our services on this website are for general informational purposes. Actual results can vary based on your concrete's condition, moisture levels, lighting, and the coating system chosen.
We provide free, no-obligation estimates for prospective projects. An estimate reflects our best assessment based on the information and access available at the time of the visit. Final pricing may be adjusted if concrete conditions, square footage, or scope differ once work begins, and we'll communicate any changes with you before proceeding.
An estimate is not a binding contract until both parties agree to the final scope of work and pricing in writing.
Once a project is scheduled, you agree to:
Delays caused by restricted access, undisclosed site conditions, or incomplete preparation on your part may affect the project timeline and, in some cases, the final cost.
Payment terms, including any deposit, progress payments, and final balance due, will be outlined in your written estimate or contract. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final payment is due upon completion of the project.
Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of your estimate. Late or missing payments may result in delays to warranty registration or future scheduling.
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Materials that have already been ordered or prepped specifically for your project may not be refundable, and any such costs will be discussed with you in advance whenever possible.
Warranty coverage depends on the coating system and package selected for your project:
Standard system: Does not include a warranty.
Premium and Metallic systems: Backed by a 5-year warranty covering defects in workmanship under normal use.
Our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning products, extreme impact, structural movement of the underlying concrete, or work performed by another contractor after our installation. Full warranty terms will be provided in writing at the completion of your project.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden State Coatings is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services, including loss of use of a space during installation or curing. Our liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount paid for that specific project.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
By providing your phone number or email address, you agree that Golden State Coatings may contact you regarding your estimate, scheduling, and project updates. If you opt in to text messaging, message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.
